The appearance of bar stools as common household furniture options is becoming more frequent. The height of the back will differ, playing an important part in both the style and the comfort of your stools. If price and overall size are your most important constraints, then a backless bar stool might be your preference. If not, then having a back will definitely improve the comfort factor of your seats, although as previously mentioned, these stools will also take up more floor space, as well as vertical space, often extending up beyond the bar, which in some instances may take away from a very clean design aesthetic where you don't want anything interrupting the clean lines of your bar top.

When deciding to update your furniture or re-model part of your house, you should consider adding some bar stools to the design scheme. Bar stools come in a wide range of styles, colors, and materials. They can be hard seated, upholstered, or leather.
